An introduction to Dolphin Outsourcing Ltd

"Hi, everyone, I'm Christina Barker from Dolphin Outsourcing Limited and today I wanted to give you all an introduction to our company. Dolphin Outsourcing started a little over two years ago now by our director Laura Dolphin. Yes, that is her real name, and yes, the reason it's called Dolphin Outsourcing. I'm sure it took her a while to come up with that name, but it works. We are based in the UK and all of our clients are also UK based. Laura started the company to help those businesses with potentially smaller budgets, who were just starting, get the help they needed to grow their business. She often found that those businesses needed help, but as they were just trying to get off the ground, they didn't have much to put into the business until it gets going. We all kind of know that business owner. If you don't know them then you might be the person that we're talking about. This is when Dolphin Outsourcing was born.

So we offer affordable solutions in which those businesses can either get outsourcing or the training that they need. To date, we have a team of six ladies, dotted all around the country who all work virtually from home, including Laura, and we are looking to grow the team quite significantly in the future. One of those has very recently joined us, more on this later. Laura, as the director, deals with the bulk of the company and also works with clients on a mentoring level as well as getting involved in some graphic design work.

Alongside Laura sits Chloe, who has been with Dolphin since day one and she is what you might call Laura's wing woman. She is Laura's PA as well as all things backend at Dolphin and she deals with account and HR work.

Next is myself as General Manager and I look after the team and help manage your day to day business as well as working on clients for social media management work or one to one training.

The rest of the team consists of Business Outsourcing Specialists, and they have an array of knowledge between them.

Zara is our podcasting Queen and has helped clients with blogging and social media, and a bit everything.

Heather loves to get stuck in with Project Management work and she also assists with PA work as well.

And lastly, we have Hayley who is our other team member. She's very new and is looking to take some new client work as soon as possible.

So each team member brings something unique to the business and we can all fully help your business move forward. We all have different unique qualities and whatever it is that you might need, we are sure we can help you with it.

So what do we do? What can we help you with? We help small to medium-sized businesses in the UK, with business management. So anything that you need from Admin services right up until full management and one on ones, basically anything in the business that you might wish to outsource, and we can help you do it. Our main services are admin and PA support, social media marketing, branding and design, training, startup business support, management, and our new service which is podcast support and transcription. There are many tasks within these areas that we cover, but whatever it is you're looking for, we will probably do it. So get in touch if you think that is anything that we can help you with.

Email Marketing is a big service that we can offer support with. We provide training and assistance with Mailchimp and we also do a lot of social media work or we can delve into your platforms with you and give you advice on how we can improve these. That's something that I love to do. I'm a very nosey person so I love to go in, and spot all the different things, see how everyone works, and give feedback, that is my number one thing that I like to do. So if you're looking to do that, you'll probably be working with me.

We also offer a fantastic social media package, if you are needing help with any of the social media. So that includes content creation, scheduling and management, monitoring, reports, and reviews. And it's all for only £495 a month, which is an extremely reasonable price compared to other virtual assistant companies. We've done a fair amount of research on this, and you get quite a lot for your money for that, so we're looking forward to having some clients on board and help with that plan of yours. So with that, we also offer bolt-ons at an additional cost, so you can personalise it more to your business. So we have the core package and then anything else on top of that all be add on and that's the best way that we found that works. If there's anything not on our core package, and you want to add it, that's fine, we can just add it to the cost of your plan. So we also offer affordable services and our prices start from just £22 an hour for our basic rate services. We have £32 an hour for our senior rate services, and £42 an hour for our management rate, which is the training, our one to ones that we can help you with. So three different price points that work well and it's really easy to remember 22, 32, 42, and to book that we just require a minimum of one hour to get started. That's it, nice and simple.

We also have three different contracts as well to accommodate each business's needs. So those are one-off, which is paid upfront for one job only, Adhoc for when you need our help for few jobs, which may vary in price over the month, and you may not need us in other months. So you sort of come and go. This requires just a £30 deposit to kick it off. Finally, we have our retainer contract, which is for those clients that would like to use a set amount of budget each month. And for those clients, we'll block out a time and ensure that the budget gets used for whatever you need us for. So we'll keep it in the diary and we'll know that during those times that's when we work on only your things. Our retainer clients always come first, so we'll always deal with them first, and then everybody else falls in between those gaps. And that's how we work. We try to work within your budget for affordability, so if you can only afford, for example, £200 a month, we can work with that. If you need just one task doing, as I mentioned earlier, then our minimum is just an hour of work, so if you wanted to go through your social media, for example, and do a live audit with myself or our Social Media Manager, we can do that normally within an hour unless you've got tons of questions, which might take a little bit longer, but generally, it takes about an hour to do.
